The lady Vikings treated their fans to a display of ferocious determination and team spirit against the Friday Harbor Wolverines on Tuesday, Oct. 18 at Dahl Field.

The Vikings held steady for much of the first half, repelling Wolverine attacks. But Friday Harbor pressure remained fast and furious, and during the second half the score steadily climbed.

Keeper Julia Bailey faced continual rough-and-tumble onslaughts, leaping to make numerous mid-air saves, but corner kicks provided sufficient opportunities for the Wolverines to pierce Orcas defenses.

The game ended at 5-0, Friday Harbor.
