United Way supports early education | Letter

I want to let our community know how thankful we are to the United Way of San Juan County, which helps Children's House keep tuition costs affordable and early education accessible for families that might not otherwise be able to afford it.

I want to let our community know how thankful we are to the United Way of San Juan County, which helps Children’s House keep tuition costs affordable and early education accessible for families that might not otherwise be able to afford it.

In particular this year, United Way funds helped our Waddler/Toddler program continue in its mission of providing the kinds of intentional experiences known to stimulate early brain development and to support social emotional skills.

United Way understands that early access is an important component for identifying development delays so early intervention can begin to work and ultimately give ALL children in our community the opportunity to be successful and kindergarten ready.

Too, we are grateful for hard-working and generous people who earmark pledges to United Way on behalf of Children’s House and for their employers who match it! Every donation supports programs vital to our community’s health and well-being. United Way funds are indeed working here!

Thank you!
