William “Bill” Pfeffer, a resident of Orcas Island from 1973 until 1996 has died, aged 87 years. He enjoyed a long retirement spending many holidays in Shropshire, England. He was a member of three bicycle clubs, spending many happy hours, rain or shine, riding the lovely lanes with companionable friends. He is survived by his wife, children, sister, brother, and five grandchildren.He is missed.
