Robert “Bob” William Spring | Passages

June 30, 1941 to Dec. 22, 2017

Robert was born in Castlegregory, Ireland. He moved to Orcas Island In 1975 with his wife Judith where they raised their three children. He built their home and ran the family business: Glocca Morra Plumbing and Heating. Robert was a Master plumber and electrician, a skilled builder, pipefitter and welder. He was generous beyond words, valued education, taking care of his family and had a strong work ethic.

Robert was an active person, who exercised daily and was disciplined. He enjoyed traveling, especially to his native Ireland. Dad, “Glocca Morra forever, see you one day in Fiddlers Green.”

Robert is survived by his loving wife Judith and their three children: Elizabeth (Chris), Ellen (Paul), and Patrick (Karoly); grandchildren: Jennifer, Christopher, Isabella and Raphael “Bumpy”; brothers: Kieron (Patricia), Donald (Vivian); sister: Beatrice; nephews: Kevin, Ian, Warren, Dwayne, and Paul; and nieces: Sharon and Mandy.

A Memorial Mass for Robert will be held at St. Francis Parish on Orcas Island on Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, at 2:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
