It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kurt Thorson on June 11, 2018.

Kurt captured the beauty around him with his camera and created things of beauty with his hands. He was kind, loving, resourceful, creative, funny and never lost his sense of curiosity. We were so lucky to have him in our lives and we miss him dearly.

This past couple of years Kurt battled ALS. He fought the disease with strength and grace, and never gave up. Although he couldn’t control what the disease did to his body, Kurt never let it impact his spirit; he remained loving and light.

During this time, we were so fortunate to have the love and support from our community. It is hard to put into words how much this support meant for Kurt and our family, thank you all so much!
