State Parks commission considers Moran and Obstruction Pass expansions

The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission will meet at 9 a.m. on Thursday, March 22, at the Evergreen Fairgrounds 4-H Building 14405 179th Ave SE, Monroe, Washington.

At the meeting, the commission will consider adding three properties to the long-term boundaries of Moran and Obstruction Pass State Parks and amending the land classifications for both parks. The discussion is scheduled for approximately 11:10 a.m. Members of the public are welcome to attend and will have an opportunity to provide comment. If you want to provide written a comment regarding the item please send it to commission@parks.wa.gov by 5 p.m. on March 16.
