The San Juan County Republican Party will be having its annual Lincoln Day Event on three islands: a light luncheon on Orcas Island at the American Legion Post #93 on Saturday, March 25 at 12:30 p.m. in the American Legion and dinners at Lopez at Islander Resort on March 31 and on San Juan Island at the Brickworks on April 1. Speaker is Herbert Meyer, former senior member of the Central Intelligence Agency under the Reagan Administration. He is widely credited with being the first person to predict the fall of the Soviet Union and is a popular speaker nationwide.

SJC Republican Party Chairman Nathan Butler will be present at all of the events as will State Committeeman Rick Boucher. Vicechair Lynda Gerpheide will attend on Lopez, Secretary Minnie Knych on Friday Harbor and State Committeewoman Cindy Carter on Orcas.
