Fun for all at July 4th parade - Dakota wins mayoral race

Orcas Islanders were in fine form on Saturday, July 4 during Eastsound's annual parade. Fire trucks, clowns, chickens, dogs, children, and old cars were on display. The Orcas Island Historical Museum won grand prize. In a close and competitive race, Dakota emerged victorious as the new mayor of Eastsound.
