Ranker picks up endorsements

The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) announced on July 25 their sole endorsement of Kevin Ranker, while the Washington School Administrators Political Action Committee also supported the campaign.

Larry Brown, Legislative Director for the IAM stated, “Like our members, Kevin Ranker understands that one of the best social programs is a good paying job.”

Whatcom County Councilmember Seth Fleetwood announced his endorsement of Kevin Ranker today stating, “Kevin Ranker brings a clear vision for the future of our community, strong experience working on behalf of the entire district, and established leadership on issues such as the environment and the development of our local economy. I have no doubt that when he is our state senator, he will make sure that our communities’ concerns are brought to the table on a statewide scale.”

Additional endorsements from Anacortes came this week when City Council members Brian Geer, Cynthia Richardson, and Erica Pickett joined Mayor Dean Maxwell in supporting Kevin Ranker.In San Juan County, Friday Harbor City Councilwoman Liz Illg and San Juan County Sherriff Bill Cumming joined San Juan County Council Members Rosenfeld, Licther, Knapp and Myhr in their support of Kevin.
