$5 RUSH TICKETS AT ORCAS CENTER

Orcas Center offers a special ticket discount for all Orcas Center productions and presentations in April and May -- $5 tickets will be sold for seats remaining unsold at curtain time. Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and will be sold right at curtain time, generally 7:30 pm for evening shows. Rush tickets MUST be paid for with cash or check ONLY.

Barbara Courtney, Executive/Artistic Director of Orcas Center, explains the new offer as follows: “We are experimenting with this box office policy to see if it will solve a few of our challenges: reaching more people with Orcas Center programming; providing tickets at an affordable price to people for whom regular ticket prices are inaccessible; and ensuring bigger audiences for our performing artists. If successful, we will extend this discount offer for all future Orcas Center presentations.”

Advance ticket purchases guarantee seating for popular performances that sell to capacity, so patrons who can afford regular ticket prices are encouraged to continue buying tickets in advance. Tickets are available at the Orcas Center box office, by phone (360-376-2281) or via www.orcascenter.org.
