The deadline for all dog owners to purchase 2006 dog licenses is Friday, March 31. San Juan County requires all dogs to be licensed annually. The license fee for spayed/neutered dogs is $12, and $25 for intact animals. After March 31, a $10 late fee will be added to the purchase of a license.

Licenses may be purchased at Eastsound Kennels and the Orcas Animal Shelter. The shelter is open 2 - 5 p.m. daily.
