Lopez continued it annihilation of the Northwest B small school division by routing Skykomish in a three game match Oct. 18, 25-14, 25-17 and 25-6.
Lisa Vaughn was the top attacker, with eight kills while Isabelle Tetu had six. Setter Gretchen Scherzinger was right on target with her serves, making 12 of 13 with three aces.
Later in the week. the Lady Lobos took on Snohomish High School's junior varsity team.
With what coach David 'Chico' Chicovsky called 'improved' play, Lopez won in three straight.
Vaughn, once again, was lead attacker with 12 kills, she was also steady from the service line. Brooks Brady was next with eight kills. The highlight of the match was in game three when freshman Tammora Nedoroscik came off the bench and served seven straight points, with one ace, to win the match.
