Unstoppable Dina Martina will make her first annual royal visit to the Republic of Orcas' Living Room, Friday, April 1 at 8 p.m. Admission is $8 the night of the show - one night only!

Dina was conceived by Seattle performer Grady West, who developed the hilariously unwitting character into a multi-faceted persona with an extremely devoted following. The Seattle Times says- "Surreal, bizarre, and always hilarious! The world of Dina pushes past all limits!"

Upon her 1989 debut in Pearls Before Swine, Dina was an instant success, gleaning reviews that dubbed her "surreal" and "brilliant" and "hysterically funny." Since then, Dina has packed numerous Seattle venues such as CoCA, Empty Space, Experience Music Project and Bumbershoot Arts Festival. In 1997, Dina was nominated for a Stranger Fringe Theater Award for best solo show, and in 1999 and 2004 Grady received a Seattle Times Footlight Award.

Absolutely packed with ridiculous songs, ludicrous dance, wonderfully horrifying film and video segments and more audience gifts than law permits, Dina's shows have become synonymous with jaw-dropping pathos and mind-blowing comedy. After sold-out performances everywhere from Vancouver, B.C. to San Francisco, and New York, Dina has been described as "a train wreck in heels" and one of the best nightmares you'll ever have." Quite simply put, it's a unique night of hilarious entertainment you will never forget.
