Hunt for Easter eggs Saturday
June 17, 2008 · Updated 4:42 PM
The annual Orcas Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the local Lions Club will be held Saturday, March 26, at 10 a.m. sharp at the Moran State Park picnic area.
Over 1,500 colored, filled eggs will be hidden in specially marked areas for toddlers, pre-schoolers, and gradeschoolers. Egg hunters should bring their own baskets.
The Lions Bunny will be on hand to help children and parents get started on the hunt. "We always have a great time hunting for the eggs. This is not a stampede but a wonderfully gentle hunt with treats for everyone," reports the Lions Bunny.
The hunt is held rain or shine. If the hunt day is wet, rain boots and coats would be a plus for hunters.
