Lions continue Toys for Tots and ‘Tweens

Orcas Island Lions Club member Tanya Johnson is preparing for this year’s annual toy distribution This year toys will be distributed to parents of island children at the Eastsound Fire Hall Wednesday, Dec. 15, from 4 to 6 p.m.; Thursday, Dec. 16, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and Saturday, Dec. 18, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Johnson has been chair of the Toys for Tots and ‘Tweens program for the last three years.

New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at Cherie Lindholm Real Estate, Kay’s Antiques in Our House, and RadioShack, all in Eastsound. Anyone wishing to help with monetary donations may send a check to the Orcas Lions Club, P.O. Box 1212, Eastsound, WA 98245.
