NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

SAN JUAN COUNTY LAND BANK

BOCC/LAND BANK 2004 AMENDED EXPENDITURE

AND ACQUISITION PLAN

The Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. to consider the Land Bank’s proposed 2004 Amended Expenditure and Acquisition Plan. Projects included in the draft include the San Juan Island Mt. Ben conservation easement and Orcas Island North Shore Waterfront. Public testimony will be heard.

The hearing will take place in the BOCC Hearing Room at the County Courthouse, Friday Harbor.

Copies of the draft Plan are available upon request from the Land Bank office, 378-4402, 470 Spring St., Suite 103, Friday Harbor. Anyone unable to attend the hearing but interested in submitting a written comment to the BOCC may do so. Written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m. Thursday July 15. Written comments may also be submitted at the hearing.

SAN JUAN COUNTY LAND BANK COMMISSION

The Land Bank Commission will meet on the fourth Friday of the month in July. The meeting will be held in the Community Room in the Lopez Public Library, 2225 Fisherman Bay Road, Lopez Island. The meeting begins at 12:30 p.m. Public comment time is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.

The public is welcome at every monthly Land Bank Commission meeting.
