Matthew Laslo-White has decided to compete with the adults during the Orcas Has Talent finale show on Feb. 4.
The young magician won over the three judges – Joe and Susan Babcock and Bob Shipstad – during the Orcas Has Talent junior competition on Jan. 21. He had the option to perform or compete at the final event in two weeks, and he opted to try his luck at the ultimate title.
Friends Paris Wilson, Sabrina Bailey and Camryn Thompson, who made up the group "M & Ms," came in as runners up. They sang, rapped and danced during their rendition of "Dominate." They will also perform during the finale show.
Other young contestants were sisters Tori and Violet Sturk as the "Cosmic Cuties" dance duo, Stormy Hildreth singing "I could have danced all night," Hailey Stephens singing "Hold it against me," and Monica Connell performing "Dog town boogie" as well as her own composition on the piano.
