Charter review schedule of upcoming meetings

The Charter Review Commission will hold meetings on three major islands. The following is a schedule through March; the April and May meeting times will be determined after the spring ferry schedule is released.

Jan. 21: Orcas, Orcas Hotel, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Jan. 28: Lopez, Grace Episcopal Church, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Feb. 4:  San Juan, San Juan Grange, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Feb. 11:  Orcas,  Orcas Hotel, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Feb. 18: San Juan, San Juan Grange, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Feb. 25: San Juan, San Juan Grange, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Mar. 3: Orcas, Orcas Hotel, 7:30 to 3 pm.

Mar. 10: Lopez, Grace Episcopal Church, 8:30 to 2 p.m.

Mar. 17: San Juan, San Juan Grange, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Mar 24: Orcas, Orcas Hotel, 7:30 a.m to 3 p.m.

The county has created a webpage for the review commission. It lists all of the members, and has links to the meeting schedule and to the Charter itself.  Soon it will have other relevant documents as well as meeting minutes and agendas.
