WSDOT Ferries Division will temporarily reduce capacity on the San Juan Islands inter-island route during the week of Sept. 13 to accommodate necessary vessel repairs.

Beginning Monday, Sept. 13, the 34-car Hiyu (WSF's only backup vessel) will replace the 87-car Evergreen State as the inter-island vessel. The Evergreen State will be moved to Dakota Creek Shipyard in Anacortes. Repairs are expected to be completed by the end of the week and the Evergreen State will return to the inter-island route. WSF advises customers to arrive early for inter-island sailings during the week of Sept. 13.
