First annual Orcas Sustainable Living Fair
May 8, 2009 · Updated 11:36 AM
The Orcas Sustainability Fair, which took place in the Orcas Library Park on Saturday, May 2 alongside the Orcas Farmers' Market, distributed information to the public about energy, food, water, community and self-reliance resources.
Those in attendance discussed waking up to the importance of these issues and showed their support for seeing Orcas Island lead the way in educating and mutually supporting communities in living on the earth sustainably.
Michael Hurwicz of Irthlingz interviewed the displayers and made a video that is available here: Sustainable Living Fair
