Explore Sucia with the Nature Institute

The San Juan Nature Institute will sponsor a second Adult Field Workshop with geologist Michael Yeaman on Sept. 7, in partnership with Washingto State Marine Parks, Outer Island Expeditions, and Shearwater Adventures.
Yeaman will lead a group of nine to Sucia Island aboard Outer Island’s Blackfish, and then on a hike and an afternoon kayak trip on Shearwater Adventures’ kayaks around portions of Sucia.
Registration is required, with the trip costing $175 per person. Background information on the trip agenda, meeting details and a list of what to bring will be emailed in advance.
