Organizations across the world are gathering together to “walk out,” “dance,” “rise up,” and “demand an end to violence against women” this Valentine’s Day.

On Orcas, Gail Anderson-Toombs is asking for any islanders interested in gathering on the Village Green on Feb. 14, between 12 and 12:15 p.m.. Dance sing or just be. A bell will ring and you will be asked to raise your arm and point to the sky to show your demand to end violence against women.

For info, visit http://onebillionrising.org/ or contact Anderson-Toombs at 376-9449.
