Join YMCA Camp Orkila on celebrating with a free language mixer dinner during National Welcoming Week on Sunday, Sept. 17 from 5–7 p.m. at the camp.

Bringing together new immigrants and U.S.-born residents to promote cross-cultural understanding and raise awareness of the benefits of welcoming everyone! Providing an opportunity to Orcas Island residents to practice their second language in a comfortable and fun setting.

Welcoming Week is a chance for neighbors – both immigrants and U.S.-born residents – to get to know one another and celebrate what unites us as a community.

Please spread the word and bring your friends. You don’t need to be proficient in English or Spanish to attend.
