Home repair workshop

Aging safely on Orcas is a challenge for many seniors due to deferred maintenance and repairs in their homes. Orcas Senior Center is sponsoring a workshop by Lynn Roberts on Tuesday, Oct. 8, from 3-4:30 p.m.

The workshop will focus on the preparation of a strategic plan identifying the safety hazards in your home and a guide to finding solutions for those hazards. For 25 years, Roberts owned a business on Orcas that offered appliance and heating repairs and installation, among many other services. The workshop is open to all and is free, but please call 360-376-2677 to reserve a spot.
