The San Juan County Marine Resources Committee will host Educational Exhibit Artist Larry Eifert discussing the planning of the new exhibit at the new Orcas Landing public viewing area that will open this Summer. This presentation will take place at the Orcas ferry landing on Saturday, March 25, from 1–3 p.m.

On April 3 and 4, the marine resource committee will host a Marine Managers Workshop at Camp Orkila. During the workshop, participants will discuss the environmental and socioeconomic impacts of vessel related spills to Salish Sea communities. It will explore the impacts of a hypothetical large oil spill occurring near Turn Point, located in the area between San Juan county and the Gulf Islands.
