Soloist Susan Osborn will open the Brown Bag concert on July 5 at noon in the Emmanuel Episcopal Parish. Osborn has had a career in music, performing and recording, and teaching around the world for almost 50 years.

This year she is celebrating the release of her 20th solo recording of “Hummingbird,” a collection of original songs. She is joined on the recording by an array of music partners including Paul Winter, David Darling, Nancy Rumbel and Orcas Island’s own Bruce Harvie, Martin Lund and Charlie Porter.

Bring you friends and a brown bag lunch to share in the gardens after the concert and enjoy Osborn’s startlingly powerful and remarkable voice.
