Join Friends Of Moran State Park on Saturday, April 14, for some fun with a rake or, for the more daring, a pair of loppers. Meet Friends volunteers at Cascade Lake Shelter at 9 a.m. for a cup of coffee before the clean-up. Park staff will share which areas of the park were hit hardest by the winter storms. Pick an area and spend a few hours of clearing branches, rocks and other “stuff.” Finally, volunteers will have a tasty lunch courtesy of Pat Muffett and Karen and Ken Speck. Bring gloves. No Discover Pass is needed, parking is free.
