This just in from YMCA Camp Orkila. Voting is a fundamental part of civic engagement, and September is the time to ensure that all our community members are registered and have the tools they need to vote!

As a movement, the Y has been promoting civic engagement throughout its history. It is part of our mission and advances our cause of strengthening communities. Registering to vote is an important first step in civic engagement and a key component in connecting individuals to their communities.

With many state and local elections, Camp Orkila will be participating in National Voter Registration Day on Sept. 24. We have Voter Registration forms at camp; come by any time to complete the form and we will take care of the rest!
