Aviation fans from near and far perused aircraft on display during the 36th Annual Orcas Fly-In Aug. 2-4.
The fly-in is sponsored by the local EAA chapter, and brings together airplanes and pilots from around the west and Canada. Many of the pilots and their families camped under the wings of their airplanes for the weekend. The Orcas Classic Car Club also held its annual classic car show on Saturday at the corner of Mount Baker Road and North Beach Road, and the Orcas volunteer firefighters held a pancake breakfast on both Saturday and Sunday morning.
