YMCA Camp Orkila, in partnership with the Funhouse, will continue to offer Spanish and English language classes for adults. The next session for both classes will be on Tuesday evenings from 6-8 p.m., and begins Sept. 17. Orkila is happy to provide this wonderful opportunity to learn and practice a second language. A 10-week session costs $100 and there is scholarship assistance available. With the help of high school students, they are able to provide free child care during class.

In addition to class offerings, Orkila hosts quarterly language mixer dinners. The next dinner will happen during welcoming week (www.welcomingamerica.org/programs/welcoming-week). All are welcome to attend Sept. 16, 6-8 p.m. at the Camp Orkila Lodge. Dinner provided; RSVP to Cruz Winchell.
