Orcas native Jake Knapp releases second book

Following the success of his first book “Sprint: How to Solve Big Problems and Test New Ideas in Just Five Days,” Orcas Island native Jake Knapp returns to the publishing scene with co-author John Zeratsky. Their book “Make Time” was released in late September.

“What if you could step off the hamster wheel and start taking control of your time and attention? As creators of Google Ventures’ renowned ‘design sprint’, Jake and John have helped hundreds of teams solve important problems by changing how they work,” said the book’s website. “Building on the success of these sprints and their experience designing ubiquitous tech products like Gmail and YouTube, they spent years experimenting with their own personal habits and routines, looking for ways to help individuals optimize their energy, focus, and time.”

The New York Times bestselling authors drew from a decade of experience, a blog they had written about their process and the comments left there to write their book about making more time in your life in four steps: highlight, laser, energize and reflect.
