The following was submitted by the Orcas Island Community Church.

It has been a busy summer on Orcas Island. The same holds true for the Community Church. We just hosted a wonderful Jubilee weekend and are looking forward to a new ministry year this fall.

Beginning Sunday, Aug. 12, Orcas Island Community Church will have two worship services at 9: a.m. and 10:45 a.m. The two services will be similar in style and content. Sunday School for K-5th grade will be offered at the 9 a.m. service only. A program for middle and high schoolers will be offered at 10:45 a.m. The nursery will be available at both of the morning services. Vespers will continue at 5 p.m. on Sundays. We will maintain this schedule until further notice.
