Michael Harlow to perform

The music committee at Emmanuel Episcopal Parish welcomes violinist Michael Harlow to his first performance at a Brown Bag Concert on Wednesday, July 25 at noon.

Harlow will be accompanied by pianist Emma Windsor. Also appearing with Harlow will be violinist Scott Heisinger, violinist Pamela Wright and violinist TJ Liblik.

Harlow, a former student and graduate of Orcas Island Schools, currently attends Trinity Western University where he continues his studies in music and is pursuing a bachelor of secondary education and Bachelor of Arts in music education and Spanish.

The program includes Serenade, Franz Schubert, Op.38 No.1, Jacques Fereol Mazas, Op.48 No.1, Ignaz Pleyel and 5 pieces by composer and pianist Dmitri Schostakovich.

There is no admission charge, but donations are appreciated for the Virgil Cleveland Memorial Scholarship which is awarded every year to deserving Orcas music students.
