Fire the Animal heats up Random Howse for New Years Eve

Orcas-raised Brian Duke and his bandmates from the greater Los Angeles area will be flying up to play great dance covers and original music to celebrate the end of 2018 and beginning of 2019 at Random Howse starting at 9 p.m. on Dec. 31.

Duke, bass, moved to southern California in 2009 and has been immersed in learning the craft and art of the music business and has played with vocalist Dave and lead guitarist Jason since 2010. Sam keeps the beat on drums. The last time the band was on Orcas was July 2016.

Duke was influenced and encouraged by some of the greats of Orcas, like Jim Bredouw, Brian Benepe, Gene Nery, Martin Lund and Greg Books.

They are joined by Anthony Ghazel (another Orcas island alumnus) and Los Angeles-based Jonah Nimoy (guitar/vocalist) for a few songs.

Tickets available on Brown Paper Tickets for $10 (https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/3907130) or at the door.
