Fall Festival and Haunted Hay Ride at Camp Orkila

Submitted by Camp Orkila

Camp Orkila’s annual Fall Festival and Haunted Hay Ride will be on Saturday, Oct. 21.

Our Fall Festival will be from 1–5:30 p.m. We’ll have brats, pumpkin soup, chili and cider to warm you up. You’ll be able to participate in pumpkin carving, cider-pressing, face painting, archery, climbing at the Climbing Tower, games, and much more!

The zipline will also be available as an drop-in activity this year. Please meet at the lower end of the zipline for a briefing and know that children must be in third-grade or older to participate, and the maximum weight capacity for a single rider is 285 pounds. Each participant must have a guardian present to sign release waiver.

At 5 p.m., hop aboard for a fun Hay Ride around our farm, suitable for younger children. For older children and adults, we invite you to take a ride on our legendary, fear-inducing, Haunted Hay Ride, leaving every 20 minutes from 7-8:45 p.m.

This is a family event, thus we would like to encourage all children and groups to be accompanied by an adult, and remember that there will be families including small children in attendance.

All food and activities are free, so come on out and join us for some autumn fun!
