The Orcas Island Garden Club welcomes Lucy Hardiman on Wednesday, Sept. 19 at 10 a.m. at Orcas Center.

Hardiman is a nationally recognized garden designer, writer, teacher and speaker as well as owner and principal of the award-winning Perennial Partners, a collaborative garden design group in Portland, Oregon. She will speak about “Color Wheel in the Garden,” encouraging a rainbow of garden color and design.

The garden club welcomes new members, gardeners, landscapers, farmers and those who love nature to enjoy this month’s presentation. After the presentation, visitors are encouraged to stop by our membership table and become a member of the garden club.

All attendees may socialize, share gardening info and advice, and enjoy treats in the social hour following the meeting.
