‘Christmas Carol’ auditions

The Orcas Center has chosen “A Christmas Carol” as the Winter show leading the 2017-2018 season. The play will run for five performances on Orcas Center’s main stage. This is the beloved version that has become an island tradition, complete with Jim Bredouw’s brilliant and heartwarming music. This year, Bredouw returns as musical director, with Melinda Milligan taking the wheel as director. Milligan is known to many on Orcas as an actor, singer in “The Olga Symphony,” and director with the Actors Theater of Orcas Island. This production of “A Christmas Carol” is open to anyone. Do you want to be the first female Scrooge? How about Tiny Tess? Come and read for whatever role you want.

Come prepared to read or preferably speak a short memorized piece and sing a short song of your own choosing.
