Whether you’ve read “The Girl Who Wrote in Silk” by Kelli Estes or not, you’ll enjoy this informative presentation by the author. She’ll speak about her inspiration and research for the story, all of which takes place on Orcas Island at Orcas Island Library at 4 p.m. on Friday, July 7. Also discussed will be the true history of the Chinese in the Pacific Northwest.
