Audition for ‘Oleanna” at Orcas Center this Sunday

Auditions for upcoming drama “Oleanna” will be held in Orcas Center’s Black Box on Sunday, Oct. 21 at 2 p.m. Callbacks will be held the following day. All are welcome to attend.

“Oleanna” is a two-character play written by David Mamet. It is about the power struggle between a university professor and one of his female students, who accuses him of exploitation and, by doing so, spoils his chances of being accorded tenure. The play’s title, taken from a folk song, refers to a 19th-century escapist vision of utopia.

Directed by Deborah Sparks, “Oleanna” will run at Orcas Center from April 25 – May 3.
