The Met presents the American premiere of Thomas Adès’ “The Exterminating Angel,” inspired by the classic Luis Buñuel film of the same name.

Hailed as “stunningly innovative” at its Oct. 26 Met premiere, “The Exterminating Angel” is a surreal fantasy about a dinner party from which the guests cannot escape. New York Magazine declares the opera “hyper-dramatic.”

Doe Bay Wine Company will offer wine before and during the performance of “The Exterminating Angel” at Orcas Center.

The wines will be available to enjoy by the glass prior to the start and during the intermission of the performance. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for students, and $2 off for Orcas Center members. They may be purchased at www.orcascenter.org or by calling (360)376-2281 ext. 1 or visiting the Orcas Center box office. There are $5 subsidized tickets available at the box office.
