Several weeks ago I was visiting your beautiful island when I had a paragliding accident in which I fractured my patella (kneecap) and separated the patellar tendon. Needless to say I was in a bit of pain and needed help.

I have been a firefighter/paramedic for 18 years but have never had to ride in the ambulance as a patient. Well, that changed. I wanted to write and let you know that your community has one of the most professional and compassionate fire departments that I have ever had the chance to interact with.
