Well, that was fun! The Orcas Island Education Foundation would like to thank everyone who made our first annual Community Dodgeball night a great success. “Thank Yous” to: Orcas Park and Rec District for making it possible, Justin “Dodgeball Wizard” Paulsen for his masterful MC-ing, Island Market for their generous donation of high-class scented candles for prizes, everyone who contributed to our well-above-average bake sale, Marcella Barrientos for poster help, to the festive souls who came decked out in holiday attire, and to everyone who showed up, laughed and celebrated our community for a few hours. The donations generated from the gate and bake sale will go to support programs in our public schools! We’ll see you next year!
