On behalf of the Orcas Senior Center, I want to extend my appreciation and thanks to the Orcas Chamber of Commerce for the 2019 Community Service Award. We are honored to have received this award. This award is a testament to all the hard work of the center’s staff, to the efforts and contributions of our partner organizations, and most especially to the efforts and contributions of our many volunteers. This award also serves to validate for us the confidence which our members and donors have in our efforts as we strive to fulfill our mission of providing services and support necessary for people to age well on Orcas Island.
