The Orcas Class of 2024 would like to thank Key Bank for use of their drive-up area for our car wash on Labor Day. The kids washed more cars than we could count, and had a great time bonding and collecting donations for their upcoming trip to NatureBridge. Each year, 6th-graders raise funds to attend the week-long program on the Olympic Peninsula. Students develop inquiry-based science skills while hiking nearby peaks, exploring in Salish-style canoes, investigating tide pools, and analyzing old growth forests. Thank you to all who supported this year’s class trip by stopping by for a wash and making a donation!
