I think that a big shout out of recognition is due here to the two students at Orcas High School who organized the recent walk out and memorial for the 17 students who were killed in the shootings at Stoneman high school in Parkland Florida last month. I think we all should be proud and humbled by the initiative and efforts shown by Haley Moss and Henry Moe in organizing this recognition of the ongoing tragedy of gun violence in American society and kids in particular. Their thoughtfulness, compassion and determination should humble us all. If we want them to do better then we need to do better.
