The Granny’s Attic rummage sale was a fantastic success due to an outpouring of community donations and a champion effort by dozens of volunteers. This is one of the Orcas Island Senior Center’s largest fundraisers of the year. The weeks of effort preparing and producing the event paid off on Saturday as people showed up in droves to buy treasures, housewares, antiques and so much more.

Thank you to everybody that joined us, and especially thank you to the volunteers that worked so tirelessly to support the successful sale. There are still a few nice pieces of furniture that are now marked at 50 percent off “or best offer” lining the halls of the Senior Center. Please stop by between 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. weekdays to check out the goods if you would like to see what furniture is available.

The Senior Center on Orcas is a vital community organization that relies on people like YOU to thrive. We welcome new volunteers with any and all levels of availability to contribute.
