'Harvest Hootenanny' contra dance, cider pressing and pie sale will support Orcas Seed Bank

FoodMasters organization will host a contra dance at the Odd Fellows' Hall on Oct. 8 to raise funds for the Orcas Island Seed Bank.
The band “Hands Four” from San Juan Island will highlight the evening’s events, which include dancing, live cider pressing and a pie and ice cream sale.
A beginner's lesson will be taught from 7:30 to 8 p.m., then the dancing will commence until 11 p.m. The cover charge is $10.
A table at the event will offer information on the Seed Bank and FoodMasters. Donations of apples for the cider pressing are invited.
