The Orcas Dance Club will hold its spring dance at Orcas Center on May 28.

Lynn Richards will give a swing dance lesson from 8:15 to 8:45 p.m., followed by a dance from 9 to 11 p.m.

Martin Lund and Gene Nery will provide the dance music.

"Come early if you want to brush up on your swing dancing, or come at 9 p.m. and bring friends," organizers say.

The Orcas Dance Club is a non-profit organization started 20 years ago by people who loved to dance. They began having New Years Eve dances, spring dances, fall dances and the occasional barn dance, to the delight of all the dancers on Orcas.
