Thursday, Oct. 8

The Port of Orcas will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. at the port.

Friday, Oct. 9

The San Juan County Land Bank Commission will hold its regular monthly meeting at 10:15 a.m. and will be held in the Main Meeting Room, Orcas Island Fire Department Station 21, Eastsound.

Tuesday, Oct. 13

San Juan Islands Conservation District regularly scheduled Board of Supervisors meeting 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Conservation District office meeting room, 540 Guard Street, Friday Harbor. Call 378-6621 with questions or visit www.sanjuanislandscd.org.

The Ferry Advisory Committee will hold its regular meeting from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., in the Large Conference Room, Legislative Building, 55 Second St., Friday Harbor.

Joint meeting of Fire Districts 2, 3, 4, 5, on inter-island ferry from 3:40 to 5:15 p.m. regarding the Fire Marshal's interlocal agreement.

Regular Orcas Fire BOC at 7:30 p.m. at Eastsound fire hall.

Wednesday, Oct. 14

Deer Harbor Plan Review Committee from 3:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. at the Deer Harbor Community Club, 4319 Deer Harbor Road, Orcas Island.
