OIFD: new date for work session, groundbreaking ceremony postponed

The Board of Commissioners will meet for a work session Tuesday, Sept 29 at 7:30 p.m. to discuss construction of the Deer Harbor station. The meeting was changed from an earlier date.

Orcas Fire and Rescue postponed the tentatively planned groundbreaking ceremony at the site of the future Deer Harbor fire station.

The project is being reevaluated after bids came in significantly over the budget.
